On December 5, the China Association for Science and Technology announced the list of selected journals for the 2025 Phase II High-Starting-Point New Journal Project under China's Outstanding Sci-Tech Journals Initiative. FlexMat (Flexible Electronic Materials) was successfully selected, thanks to its solid academic foundation in the field of flexible electronic materials and a clear plan for the journal’s development.
China's Outstanding Sci-Tech Journals Initiative is a key measure to enhance the academic influence and international competitiveness of Chinese sci-tech journals. The Phase II High-Starting-Point New Journal Project focuses on strategic national sci-tech fields, aiming to cultivate a batch of sci-tech journals that can fill disciplinary gaps and grow into world-class publications.
Professor Wen Yong Li, Executive Editor-in-Chief of the journal and a faculty member of NJUPT, stated that the journal will advance all work in strict accordance with the project requirements. Leveraging its resource advantages in the field of flexible electronic materials, it will build a high-level platform for academic exchange, support the dissemination and transformation of academic research achievements in this discipline, and contribute to enhancing the international profile of Chinese sci-tech journals in related fields.
