On December 24, Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications (NJUPT) held the closing ceremony for the third session of its joint “Belt and Road” Customized Talent Program with Sinopec Nanjing Engineering Corporation at the Zhongxing Auditorium of NJUPT’s Xianlin Campus. Zhou Yinguan (Executive Director and Party Secretary of Sinopec Nanjing Engineering Co., Ltd.), Guo Yufeng (Party Secretary of NJUPT), and Liu Qingshan (Member of the NJUPT Party Committee and Vice President) attended the event.
Guo Yufeng congratulated the participants on successfully completing the program and introduced NJUPT’s recent development and achievements in international student education to the guests. He noted that the smooth implementation of the 3rd program has further matured the international talent cultivation platform co-built by the university and enterprise, laying a solid foundation for broader cooperation between the two sides and contributing more expertise to the high-quality development of the Belt and Road Initiative.
Zhou Yinguan stated that the program focuses on courses and practical activities covering Chinese language, culture, social development and technological progress. These contents have significantly enhanced the participants’ understanding of China and its culture.
At the closing ceremony, participants were presented with completion certificates and honorary certificates. Speeches were delivered by Yin Jian (representing the teaching faculty) and HASSAN ALI M AL MATTAR (representing the participants). The 18 participants then showcased Hanfu, performed classic Chinese songs, and shared their impressions of China, expressing their wishes to maintain ties with NJUPT and deepen China-Saudi Arabia friendship.
