On June 19, the Youth Study and Exchange Delegation from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire visited Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications (NJUPT) for exchange activities.
With the theme of Technology Connects the World, Youth Creates the Future, the delegation visited the Postal Exhibition Hall and Communication Exhibition Hall. Through historical materials and exhibitions of cutting-edge scientific and technological achievements, they systematically understood the development context of postal and communication technologies. They also interacted with NJUPT faculty and students on hot topics in contemporary communication technology, expressing admiration for the development speed of China's telecommunications industry and NJUPT's contributions to the global communication technology field. During visits to the IoT Robot Laboratory, UAV Laboratory, and PLC Laboratory, the delegation experienced intelligent operations and interactions of simulation robots, deeply feeling the innovative charm of artificial intelligence technology. The visiting teachers and students noted that NJUPT's teaching and research strength in the field of information and communication technology is impressive, especially the innovative achievements in industrial Internet applications, which hold global demonstration value.
As the designated Chinese host institution for the Youth Envoy Study Program (YES Project), NJUPT has always been committed to building a high-level international academic exchange platform. This in-depth interaction with the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire represents an important practice to implement high-level scientific and technological and cultural exchanges between Chinese and American youth.
