NUPT President Yang Zhen headed a 4-member delegation on a visit from February 9 to 12 to Moscow Technical University of Communication and Informatics, Russia, joining the university’s celebration for its 90th anniversary.
　　President Yang delivered a keynote speech as a guest speaker, expressing his congratulations on the university’s anniversary. He briefed the audience on NUPT’s recent development and invited them to NUPT’s 70th anniversary. President Yang held discussions with President Adzhemov and Vice president Ievlev and the two parties signed the Academic Research Cooperation Agreement between Moscow Technical University of Communication and Informatics, Russia and Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications. President Yang attended the ceremonies, which provided valuable experiences for NUPT’s 70th anniversary next year. 
　　During the visit, Igor Olegovitch Zheohev, Russian Minister of Telecommunications received President Yang. He spoke highly of the development of China’s telecommunication industry and instructed President Adzhmov to strengthen cooperations with NUPT.
